This little Aussie reptile have become an Australian icon. They are dragon like creatures with a frill of skin around the neck that frames the head. They are small in stature, but grow approximately up to 70 cm (2 feet long). This lizards frill is part of a defensive strategy to make it appear much larger, when it is frightened it opens its' mouth and the frill is folded out, hopefully scaring any predators.
